The BSI program is a course in self-development and creative thinking which seeks to intervene with students who are identified as being at risk of leaving school early, who are between in 7-10th grade.
The BSI course aims to provide an intervention for students aged 13-16 (grades 7-10) who are experiencing school fatigue, exhibit disengagement in their studies, and are at genuine risk of dropping out. BSI uses evidence-based methods with student groups to help them recognize and understand their strengths and envision how they can use those strengths to contribute to their own lives, their immediate community, and society as a whole. Participants take the VIA Strengths Test, work with their values and passions, and explore Ikigai to find their purpose in life (at that stage).

In a rapidly changing society, the creative industries play a key role in driving innovation and fostering social cohesion. As we move towards a sustainable green economy, it is important for professionals within these sectors to develop transversal skills that enable them to have a positive environmental impact through their work.
